Thanks for all your prayers. Today went really well. For the most part students were receptive to the new direction. Tomorrow I'll have the rest of my classes. Here is the traditional first day of school celebration.
- take off dress shoes ASAP before you want to cut your feet off from standing all day
- eat a big supper because you were at school late but always start with dessert (cream of mushroom chicken this year)
- lay on couch and do nothing for a few minutes before spending the rest of the night adjusting lesson plans
The good news is this year I don't have to redo lesson plans. This laying on the couch doing nothing isn't a bad gig!
